Parts/ Accessories			A Dana 44 ring gear and pinion, inboard disc brakes, four coil-over shock absorbers, 2 1/2" dia. lower control arms, and 1410 U-joints, all these features came standard on the Jaguar* X.K.E. This high performance sports car had a great racing heritage and broke new ground with its revolutionary 4 wheel independent suspension. Jaguar had realized very early on that racing was one of the best ways of improving reliability while increasing performance. They utilized what they had learned at the track to build a better road car. Jaguar still uses a derivitive of this same race proven design to date. Here at C.W.I. we've been building Jaguar* I.R.S.units for 15 years and we feel that the stock Jaguar rear suspension is the strongest mass produced automotive unit available, period! Over the years, the Jaguar* I.R.S. has been transplanted into every conceivable vehicle possible and its tubular design together with coil overs and inbord brakes make it the most ideal suspension for this purpose. WHY SHOULD I USE AN INDEPENDENT REAR SUSPENSION? Fact: An independent rear suspension will greatly improve handling, road holding, and ride quality. We supply a variety of bolt patterns and manufacture numerous performance and aethetic dress up kits. We also supply Aldan shock absorbers, which are a direct replacement for the O.E.M. shocks, while allowing for ride height adjustment, dampening adjustment, and many spring rate choices.
