Jag custom independent rear suspensions for all custom, Cobra and kit car independent suspension systems front and rear.

A Dana 44 ring gear and pinion, inboard rear disc brakes, four coil-over shock absorbers, 2 1/2" dia. lower rear control arms, and 1410 U-joints, all these features came standard on the Jaguar * X.K.E  IRS. This high performance sports car had a great racing heritage and broke new ground with its revolutionary 4 wheel  independent suspension. Jaguar had realized very early on that racing was one of the best ways of improving reliability while increasing performance. They utilized what they had learned on independent rear suspensions at the track to build a better road car. Jaguar still uses a derivitive of this same race proven design to date. Here at CWI we've been building jaguar irs independent suspension units for 15 years and we feel that the stock Jaguar irs Suspension is the strongest mass produced automotive unit available, period! Over the years, the jaguar rear irs. has been transplanted into every conceivable vehicle possible including the Cobra , kitcars and street rods and its tubular design together with coil overs and inboard rear  brakes make it the most ideal jag rear suspension for these custom cars.

Fact:

An independent rear suspension will greatly improve handling, road holding, and ride quality. This is why so many of today's performance vehicles have adopted this design.

HOW HAS C.W.I. IMPROVED THE JAG IRS.?

At Concours West the jaguar irs suspension has been our bread and butter for many years. Our main focus has been on simplifyng the suspension and making servicing easier. To be honest the Jaguar suspension is hard to improve upon. We make mounting kits that allow for every possible application and adjustment. We supply a variety of bolt patterns and manufacture numerous performance and aesthetic dress up kits. We also supply Aldan shock absorbers,  which are a direct replacement for the O.E.M. shocks, while allowing for ride height adjustment, dampening adjustment, and many spring rate choices. We also supply and manufacture  Quick change axles and  9 inch Ford suspension components and jag suspension assemblies, Custom car brakes ,  Custom car IRS chassis,
